Which should come first?
Choose Lebanese Arabic first when immediate conversation with Lebanese speakers is the goal. Choose Modern Standard Arabic first when reading, formal writing, or broader cross-regional comprehension matters most. A combined program can keep the roles clear: formal structures for literacy and targeted dialect practice for natural speech.
Avoid word-list learning
Learn phrases in realistic situations and practice listening at gradually increasing speed. Contrastive examples help you notice how formal and spoken vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence patterns differ.
